Hey winos, what’s happening?

Megan here, with a fresh truckload of bargain bangers for you to add to your cart immediately. I went to a tasting on Monday and just went ahead and bought the lot – big Dan energy. He must be rubbing off on me. Next thing you know I’ll be greeting you all with ‘g’day’. Hope not. Gonna be pouring some of these cuties by the glass at the bar this week, but I’m not gonna tell you which ones :). You’ll have to swing by and find out.

First up is this smashable white from Lectores Vini, a mashup of Xarel-lo and Macabeo that’s all aromatics and intrigue. Nibiru keep on kicking goals and their new rosé is no exception – Zweigelt x Blauer Portugieser, which might be new introductions to your grape rotation (or might not be, idk). Either way this is an absolute juice bomb, just begging for a BBQ. A BBQ we might actually be able to have if the sun stays out for longer than thirty seconds. A girl can dream!

New arrivals too from Valdibella, an awesome anti-Mafia Sicilian co-op who also produce honey, almonds, cereals, jams… you name it. Until we branch out into bougie store cupboard stock, though, you’ll have to make do with just their wines. Just for you guys, we've got the deliciously aromatic Zi Bi Bò and a gorgeously fresh rosé.

Two newbies also in from Folias de Baco – an ‘aqua-nat’, essentially a pét-nat created by the addition of water and grape juice to skins that have already been pressed, for a zero-waste wine that also clocks in at a saintly 5.5% ABV – and a beautiful aromatic Moscatel. Nice!

Finally, a little mineral number from Cascina Zerbetta – Sauvignon Blanc from Piemonte. Fun!

All these babies are chock-full of intrigue while also nice and wallet-friendly. We’re SO GOOD TO YOU.
