Making the world take Grenache seriously was the ethos that led David Gleave MW and John Ratcliffe to McLaren Vale in 2005. They found inspiration in the region’s old bush vines, and these days they produce contemporary, site-specific wines from a variety of grapes, though Grenache is always front of their mind and front of the range they produce.
