What a pleasure it is to recieve a back vintage from one of my favourite ever wines. Now with a couple of extra years in bottle since release, this is primed and raring to go. 

Unmistakably Chard, unmistakably Styrian. There’s a mealy, almost oat-like character here, with plenty of that sesame-laced, smoky reduction sitting on top of all that glorious fruit. Acidity is nice and perky, especially in this cooler and lean vintage. Give this a decant and watch this evolve over the course of a few hours. ABV: 12.5%
