Vino di Anna is a small, family-run estate perched high on the slopes of Mount Etna, whose vineyards are planted in a series of historic lava flows. Fiery! The estate owns 7 hectares spread across the mountain, and all farming is biodynamic, with work in the vineyard being undertaken by hand, fermentation done using indigenous yeasts, and no fining or filtering. Their wines, like all the best wines, are expressive of the soil they come from. The also produce olive oil, and help curate a rare species of Sicilian black bee. Cute!
