40-year-old vines on Bathonian marls. Super flinty, followed up by fleshy yellow fruit. I dart between my favoured Chardonnay regions regularly, but this has firmly put me in the Jurassien camp, for now. There’s a little jasmine in there, and a persistent finish that always brings something new to the fore. Now with a little bottle age things have become quite frankly mind-bending. Savoury and seductive. Last 3. Don't play yourself. ABV: 13.5%
