Christian Tschida farms 14 hectares on the east side of Lake Neusiedl, his vineyards are a mix of schist, gravel, and limestone, all farmed organically. The canopies are kept high, the yields low, and the focus is always on balance and life in the vineyard.

In the cellar, Christian prefers long, slow macerations, old oak, no pumps, no fining or filtration, and minimal to zero sulfur. The wines are ethereal but precise, often featherweight but never lacking in depth. One of Austria's very best.
