Vibe: Heavenly

This producer is making a very good argument that variety need not matter as much as producer. Grapes I’d otherwise dismiss become dazzling after a short, well not really, snooze in the cellar. Old vines, top of the slopes on pure limestone. Basically, mimicking the best sites in Burgundy, and the comparison is pretty evident in the glass. IMO, this is the most approachable wine in the range, with the flinty reduction toned down just a notch to allow all that gorgeous fruit to have centre stage.
