Pierre Bourlier is the latest producer proving Ardèche is more than capable of making breathtaking wine. He tends a tiny plot of terraced Gamay and Pinot Noir, plus a separate older vine Gamay parcel, both on a south facing slope leading down to the heart of the Rhône. His wines manage to be at once deep and full of vitality, always showing a real imprint of his terroirs. Production is very small for now, and quantities are extremely limited, but he's looking to expand to keep up with the world's insatiable thirst for his cuvées.
