7 varieties this time, coming from the co-planted and somewhat nobly named 'Sol est Roi' plot. Fermented in oak and then blended using the solera method, the result is predictably complex. Quince, apple and broiche form the bulk of the palate, while a gentle nuttiness rounds things out. Savoury and earthy yet still delicate and fine, it's salty, moreish, and basically just an absolute triumph. ABV: 12%
