Mullineux was established in 2007, when Chris and Andrea Mullineux settled in the Swartland wine region, 60 kilometres north of Cape Town. Within a very short time period the winery established itself as one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine brands, both locally and on the international front. The Swartland is perfectly suited to natural methods of farming. The approach at Mullineux is to work as naturally as possible, both in terms of their viticulture and in the winery, with sustainable farming in place and no additions made to any of the wines.
