Mozon-Leroux was founded in 1776 and is currently under the stewardship of 7th generation grower Sebastien Mouzon. Working a total of 8 hectares in the village of Verzy, this is just one of a handful of producers practising biodynamics on Grand cru sites. With a Demeter certification in 2008 just the start Sebastian has begun applying agroforestry practices and in the winters has even introduced livestock to feed between the rows. Working with all permitted champagnes varieties the resulting wines are full of verve, power and purity of fruit.
