Michel Gahier is seen by those in the know as one of the reference point producers in the Jura. The estate is based in Montigny-les-Arsures, close to Arbois. This is prime Trousseau territory, evident in the wines. Gahier also operates with Chardonnay and Savagnin. Work in both vineyard and cellar is meticulous and use of SO2 is sparing.
