Matassa is a cornerstone of the natural wine movement. Equal parts visionary and purist. Founded by Tom Lubbe in the early 2000s in Roussillon, the estate helped define what low-intervention winemaking could look and taste like deep in the French South. Farming is fully biodynamic, with a focus on old vines and native varieties. Tom works tirelessly to restore life to the soil, so he can vinify without additions.
