Pinot from a beautiful plot high in the hills above Dambach-la-Ville surrounded by the forest, a rarity in Alsace where monoculture is king. North facing so even in warm vintages were blessed with plenty of energy. Slightly wild and rustic but most importantly bright and charming. Earthen berries and smoke. Big fan. ABV: 12%
