Chardonnay planted over tufo up in Pitigliano. Like Chardonnay but bored of Burgundy? Drink this. Unique in it's unparalleled levels of refreshment. Direct press, into barrel, left alone. Opulent stonefruit but tight and lean. The acidity is pronounced, with wonderfully worked volatility acting as a balancing counterpoint to the mineral-rich finish. They worked with Schueler, and I imagine if he made a Chardonnay, it'd taste like this. Also how good is that label?
