Founded in 2022 by Jean-Paul Pando, Domaine La Mutine is a young, 2.5-hectare estate in the northern Burgundian appellation of Vézelay. After years in the restaurant world, Jean-Paul retrained in viticulture and oenology.

The vineyards, planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and the rarity of Melon de Bourgogne in this part of france. Vines sit on shallow clay-limestone that gives the wines plenty of clarity. Farming is organic, all by hand, with a focus on finding a natural balance in the vines.

In the cellar: spontaneous fermentation, no additions, minimal sulphur, unfined and unfiltered, ltting the sites speak. One to watch!
