One of the best Riesling producers in the world, one of the best Riesling vineyards in the world, one of the best vintages on record. Easy. Decadent, who doesn't love a bit of decadence. Astounding that a wine of this quality and this age can be less than £50, but hey-ho, off we go.  A blinder offering a layered, pulpy, stone fruit rich personality and a wonderful balance between the fruit/acid/mineral things going on. This is Auslese, so it comes in at around 8% and expect a decent level of sweetness, balanced as always. ABV: 8%
