Ooof, 2023 is shaping up to be some year in the Loire. The cool vintage is doubling down on the cut and thrust that Chenin brings in spades. Young vines on Schist. This is chalky and textured whilst being direct and linear. The fruit is all lush custard apples, while that acid lines keeps things dangerously moreish. Zippy. ABV: 12.5%
