Ian and June Marks spent a long, long, long time looking for their perfect vineyard site, and finally found it in 1983. Nowadays, Gembrook Hill is one of the oldest estates in the Upper Yarra region, having led the charge on the new wave of vignerons in the area. After Ian's sudden and unexpected death in 2017, June and their son Andrew have carried on his legacy.
