From Paris, Of Love 2024

Place: Leicestershire fruit, Vinified in Somerset, England

Grape: Pinot Noir

Vibe: Energetic 

Pink-y, orange-y, very tasty! Fruit from up North at Matt Gregory's place. Hand-destemmed and split into two batches. Two thirds macerated for 4 days, the remainder for 11, then basket pressed to barrel. Here it spent 9 months ageing under flor. Bottled with no additions.

Geeky bits aside, this is actually very approachable. Crunchy berry fruit, a citrus lift and a little savoury salt. So much going on for such a modest ABV, not complaining though, means I can probably take the whole bottle for a solo spin. ABV: 8.5%
