Franck Balthazar is pretty much the king of Cornas at this point. The estate encompasses a mere two hectares of extremely low-yielding, 90-year-old vines
planted on the sunny slopes of the village’s granitic hillside amphitheater. Franck does everything organically and he even ploughs with a horse. Talk about old school. Frank also works as négociant sourcing only the very best fruit from trusted friends and growers meaning he know has a few more delicious wines for us! These are hands down some of the best wines coming out of the Rhone.
