François Rousset Martin is a cult Jura producer based in Nevy-sur-Seille, a fairly wild and dramatic-looking part of the region. His love of wine started young, growing up in Burgundy and taking trips to the Jura with his father, with whom he would later work on a parcel of the family's vines. After finishing his oenology degree and gaining experience in the southern Rhône and Languedoc, FRM returned to the Jura and kickstarted his own project, led mostly by intuition rather than science. His primarily topped up wines are pretty vanguard for what's typically expected of the area, and contain little to no added sulphur, bottled unfined and unfiltered. They're absolutely magical, and always supremely limited.
