The family have been making fortified and rancio wines here for generations, with a library of rancios dating back to the 1950s when the brothers' grandfather began buying up further vineyards. Benoit worked alongside his grandfather right up until their final vintage together in 2000, and that generational knowledge runs deep through everything they do.

Fully biodynamic and non-interventionist since forever. Benoit and Sébastien are not only custodians of the family's winemaking heritage but also of that remarkable stock of fortified wines. They were also the first generation to introduce still wines, dry whites and reds from old vines of local varieties, including the rare Carignan Gris.

Across 17 hectares with vines averaging 60 years old, a single-vineyard approach is taken throughout. Estaca on marl and schist with silica and a trace of iron. Truffière on black schist and limestone. Myrs similarly. Clos des Escounils on clay and limestone. Serious terroir, serious wines.
