Domaine Dandelion, Aligoté 2022

We've finally completed the Dandelion roster. YAY. Aligoté par excellence from Morgane and Christian that's picked from two older parcels. "Vigne de Cret" was planted in the 1940's and despite the age yields well. The soil is rich and soft, and the couple think it used to be a little veg patch. Cute. Goutte d'Or is a steep half-hectare parcel that yields less but produces beautiful yellow, freckled berries. They are both basket-pressed before 18 months of rest. All movement by gravity, never any additions. So crisp, and full of minerals.  Revitalizing and refreshing this drinks like holy water. ABV: 12%
