Dappled making yet another case for Yarra Pinot, as if the point hadn't already been made. The fruit for this one comes from a couple sites across Gladysdale and Macclesfield, and 25% of it goes in as whole bunches. The attention to detail is what sets this apart, with all berries hand-selected and a gentle 15-20 day maceration for soft extraction that still packs a serious punch. Bright, delicate and pure-fruited, cherries and raspberries sit front and centre, with whispers of smoke and spice in the background. Do I need to say anything more? ABV: 13.2%
