Cascina delle Rose is located in the Rio Sordo Valley in Barbaresco. The 5 hectare estate is run by Giovanna Rizzolio and her sons, Riccardo and Davide. The clues in the name, here you'll find roses growing wildly in the the vineyards, where organic viticulture is strictly adhered to. Family run since 1948 but it's only since 1992 when Giovanna took the reigns that they've bottled under the Cascina delle Rose label. Classy Piedmontal varietals done without any gimmicks.
