After a day where easily a hundred-plus wines were tasted, this stuck out like a sore thumb. Its energy and freshness left a lasting impression, I can still practically taste this. Sauvignon often leaves a lot to be desired, overt in its aromatics but thin and a bit gross. This couldn't be further away. Crisp, taut, and mineral. New flavours reveal themselves with each sip if you give this a bit of time and air. Pristine exotic fruit, smoked herbs, pops of white flowers, and a steely finish. ABV: 11.8%
