Damien Bastien has quickly become one of my favourite producers since my first sip. There's something so energetic and alive about his wines. All mountain air, alpine herbs and soft citrus. Even this back vintage, from one of his first years, shows such precision and vitality eight years into its life. How he does all of this with the humble Chasselas is always a mystery to me.
