Old-school Rioja is a bit of a guilty pleasure, but there’s nothing guilty about drinking anything from this iconic estate. This sees a long time in barrel, even by Riserva standards. As such, we’re firmly on the savoury side of things, despite the warm and generous Spanish fruit. Despite the American oak and alcohol, they never distract. This is at once elegant and rustic, but mainly just utterly delicious. A not-so modern classic for a reason. ABV: 14%
