Berèche et Fils have been kicking goals since 1847. Now the proud owners of 9.5 hectares of vines, mostly located in Montagne de Reims, the house is a family affair, with parents Jean-Pierre and Catherine working side by side with their two sons. They’re anti-herbicides, with pesticides only being deployed in the worst-case scenarios. Their wines are made using élevage sous liège, meaning the second ferment takes place under cork rather than the usual crown cap, allowing just enough oxygen in to create finer bubbles and delicious texture.
