Bastien Pointillart is a young winemaker (just 31) with very clear ideas, based in Chamery. The village sits 90% classified 1er cru, mid slope in the Petite Montagne de Reims, northwest of the Montagne de Reims proper. Bastien works tiny plots totalling 1.4ha, inherited from parents who grew grapes but never made wine themselves.

Certified organic for a couple of years now, though farmed organically and biodynamically for over eight. Between 2014 and 2017 he focused mainly on Coteaux Champenois, with just small quantities of Champagne alongside. These are rare as hens teeth.
