Andrea Occhipinti works in the famous Gradoli sub-region surrounding Lake Gradoli – the same area as Le Coste. He started this project in 2004, and acquired 6ha of vineyard on volcanic soils with great exposure. The farming is according to organic principles, eschewing chemical fertilisers and sprays. Vinification is in a mixture of amphora and stainless steel and winemaking is hands off, with minimal sulphur usage.
