Trebbiano at its very best, not just for the variety, but for white wine as a category. Picked perfectly ripe, whole bunch pressed before being given a year in old barrel and further time in bottle. Starts life off with a little reduction, but the age has mellowed it all. Now all ripe fruit, dried lime, wild fennel with that wonderfully golden, honeyed character just starting to settle in.

2019 considered a benchmark vintage in the region. Classic and with cutting acidity keeping things perky.
2020 another belter, warmer but this might be their best work to date! Almost Jura-like.
