Allante & Boulanger, Chardonnay 'Phenomaynal' 2022 - Mystery Pack

Christian and Mathieu took this plot over in 2005 - its former owner was none other than ole' JF Ganevat. Not a bad custodian! 24 months ageing on the lees has given this bottling all kinds of texture, balanced with some zippy, bitters-like notes. Also got some green apple in there, some nectarine, and a taut backbone of minerality. Just beautiful. Or phenomenal, you might say. Heh.
