I just got back from the USA, where aside from having one of the best meals of my life at the local Waffle House and sort of piloting a small plane I also ate a lot of pizza. Pizza is life. It has rekindled a previous plan to relocate our warehouse  and open an adjoining pizza party wine centre. The only issue being location. If you live in an area of London that is missing such a place, please sing out, all and any suggestions are welcome… who knows, maybe we’ll be neighbours in the near future.

Next week, in June, how is it June? We have Skye and Charlie from Paralian in London. In amongst a busy schedule showcasing their wares to London’s finest restaurants we’ll also be splashing them for an extremely fortunate select group in Dalston on Wednesday night.

I recently, but not recently enough, swung through Aldinga Beach just south of Adelaide to taste the new releases, which will arrive at some point in the near future. I am officially giving up on trying to plan around transcontinental shipping, a niche concern of sorts.

Said new releases are stunning, as are the 23’s we currently have, as were the 22’s before them, so on and so forth. They’re quietly, in the case of Skye, not Charlie, crafting some of the future classics of the Australian wine scene, and I’m stoked to represent them here in the UK. 

Tickets are £25 and in return for your Great British Peso’s you’ll receive 4 glasses of transcendent Australian wine and a bit of salty carbohydrate to keep things social for a Wednesday.

aaaand for those who like a lick of acid on a muggy Thursday, a further dump of Germanic pleasure from JJ Prum and Hofgut Falkenstein. When you think about operating at full whack, the likes of us probably spring to mind, well here’s a further two names to add to the vocab. If you know then you’ll know, and if you don’t then I’d suggest jumping on the wagon. Rizza is back.
