Alright maybe a little bit bothered. Anyone else sweating like a pig??

Hannah here, currently soaking up the sun beating down on the Dalston Riviera because summer has finally arrived and she’s not messing about.

Hearing lots of talk about how this summer is shaping up to be a real 2016 summer. I remember it like it was yesterday – the sun was shining, everyone was outside playing Pokemon Go, Rihanna was still making music. It was a hot, feral, and stupid fun. Welcome back, 2016 summer.

Call me biased, but I think we’re pretty good at stupid fun. We’ve got lots of exciting plans coming up to prove it as well.

Starting off with this Sunday, when we’ll be going to head to head with our mates round the corner at Newcomer Wines for a day of Australian wines vs Austrian wines. The Newcomer team have pulled together an absolutely 🔥fire🔥 list of Austrian wines from their shelves, while we’ll be pouring a list of f***ing elite Aussie piss, courtesy of our lovely wholesale partners, LC Selections. It’ll be Grenache vs Gruner Veltliner, Barossa vs Burgenland, turbo piss vs… sehr gut piss? Idk I tried ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No ticket needed, just rock up at Dan’s from 2pm on Sunday and come and drink some really good wine.

We’ve also got the first of our new shiny monthly tasting series, Boozy Tuesdays, on July 1st – [if tickets left link here]. The next round will be on August 5th – keep ya eyes peeled for tickets when they go live…

Later in the month, we have the pleasure of being joined by Ripley Wines for a night of top tier German Riesling which we’re calling RIZZ MASTERS (haha do you get it???). Come n drink your way through a specially selected line up of Rieslings from mega producers across Germany, such as Hoffgut Falkenstein, Peter Lauer and more.

We'll also have an exclusive selection of new vintages to taste before the hit the shelves later this year. Kinda like the wine equivalent of being invited to a super duper fancy VIP film premier, don't u think?? Limited and exclusive stock means limited and exclusive tickets, so don't wait around yeah xox

Finally, we’re throwing a big party, and best believe you’re invited. If you’ve come to one of our salons before, you know we don’t mess around. So how about a big Sunday session celebrating all things English wine???

Introducing, The Full English. We might not have sausages, but by god have we got bangers.

We'll be joined by a number of our favourite people making wine in this little country we call home, with your ticket getting you in the door for ***all u can drink*** of England's finest vino, running the gamut from traditional English sparkling to rediscovered heritage varieties. We’ll be running two sessions – first one kicks off at 3pm, and the second at 6pm. It’s gonna be massive – see u there??

Time to go and top up the SPF methinks – peace ✌️
