What’s up winos,

A shortie from me today, as quite frankly there’s a ton going on round these parts this week. Namely, the inaugural opening of Dan’s 2.0. All being well (and when is it ever?) she’ll be opening her doors TOMORROW. But a lot could happen between now and then. I could move to the Bahamas, for example. Keep your eyes peeled for the Insta post, that’s how you’ll know we’re good to go. If you’re in London, I expect to see u there. If you’re not in London, I expect you to get on a train and be there. I do so much for you and ask so little!

A few new arrivals to draw your attention to, as ever. Some Spanish stunners courtesy of Fazenda Augalevada. Ollos de Roque = excellent saline herbal white. Ollos de Maia = excellent tart n minty red.

More excellence espanola (thank you, thank you) from Veronica Ortega. ‘Entry level’ Mencia from 80 year old vines (can u say oxymoron?), fresh AF Godello, and a red and white blend that I’m still thinking about.

If you’re an Alpine girlie, get your chops round this. Altesse from Savoie, fresh as heck but with the kind of body a Victoria’s Secret model would be jealous of. Sorry. I’m tired. They make a banging Chardonnay cut from the same cloth, and a spicy Mondeuse too. Only problem is the bottles are so tall they won’t fit on the shelf. OH WELL. GUESS YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO DRINK THEM STRAIGHT AWAY.
