This is a stunning vintage of this wine. Fresher than the previous warm, brooding rendition, it shows Gamay doing what it does best, with all its gorgeous, juicy fruit on full display. Like the very best wines, it feels almost ever-changing, pretty florals weaving in and out of savoury hints. Racy and energetic. In my eyes, you can judge a good wine by how long the bottle lasts. Blink and you’ll miss this. ABV: 13.5%
