Thorne & Daughters are based in the Western Cape in South Africa, and source grapes from trusted growers in the area. Their focus is Cape White blends, with fruit bought in from Bot River, Stellenbosch, Voor Paardeberg, Swartland, Citrusdal, Franschhoek and Overberg. They’re considered one of the forerunners of the ‘New Wave’ of winemaking in South Africa, thanks to their innovative wines – pairing old vines with new grape varieties, and an old school, simple approach to winemaking while still maintaining an element of modernity.
