Whew, this is proper. A collab between Sam Guy, an Aussie winemaker, and Staffelter Hof's Jan, who traded off harvests at each other's domaines. Two brains are better than one! The importer received this bottling four years ago but sat on it until now, believing in its crazy potential. And wow, is it singing now. Good things come to those who wait, etc. This is everything that's good about Riesling, dialled up to 200. Biting acidity, tart fruit, pronounced aromatics, complex petrol notes - the whole nine yards. No regrets on buying this one, I promise you. ABV: 11.5%
