I'm such a sucker for bargain Riesling. This is just straightforward, no frills, classic Mosel through and through. There's a touch of sulphur added to this bottling, but this estate is lightyears ahead of most other producers in the region in terms of sustainable farming, so we'll allow it. There's strong petrol and honey aromas right off the bat, with sharp lime fruit and a hint of well integrated sugar. Sign me up. ABV: 10.5%
