Recently I went on a little jolly to Austria and I have come back head over heels in love with Morillion AKA Chardonnay. Styria in particular with its stupid steep slopes and stony soils makes distinctly mineral examples that has me salivating as I type. This has an addictive energy about it. Here in the UK we are guilty of drinking our wines far too young, thankfully for both you and I, the aging has been conveniently done for us. Sepp is a true master of his craft.
