I'm a sucker for a well-priced Pinot, and this fits the bill perfectly. Once you take Pinot out of Burgundy you can reliably shave about 80% off the price, so here we are in New Zealand. Restrained and elegant, this has plenty of plushness, with ripe red fruit and a soft palate thanks to an ageing combo of oak and stainless. Freshness aplenty thanks to the cool growing conditions. What's not to like? ABV: 13%
