The Santini Collective is a négociant based in Auxey-Duresses run by American Chris Santini. Chris works for Kermit Lynch in the US, but is based in Beaune and has been sourcing parcels from Beaujolais all the way to Champlitte, the northernmost part of Burgundy which borders Franche-Comté. All their wines are fermented with their native yeasts and bottled unfiltered. Chris has also spearheaded the Auxey Collective, which has the springboard for the likes of Vin Noé and Domaine Dandelion. Also after tasting through the wines on a recent visit to the reigon, I can also say he is a top bloke.
