Philippe Chatillon worked as an estate manager at the La Pinte à Arbois domaine for eighteen years before deciding to strike out on his own. In 2013 he started his own project in the Jura with some Savagnin vines, which he quickly supplemented with Melon Queue Rouge, Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. He uses organic and biodynamic methods in his winemaking, and is also an advocate for using soundwaves to create balance in the cellar – using a crystal harp and singing bowls.
