The Meunier vines here are almost sixty years old, practically geriatric for Champagne, planted above the village on clay-limestone soils. Aromatics are off the charts here, with juicy red fruit, toast and almonds coming out to meet you, before unfolding onto a powerfully structured and puckeringly fresh palate, topped with a succulent minerality. My god. ABV: 12.5%
