Julien Crinquand spent his formative wine years working under Fabrice Dodane at Domaine de St Pierre, which isn't the worst place to be. Here he learnt both the principles of organic viticulture as well as correct fermentation when using little to no SO2. He started his own estate in 2019 using his family vineyards which had been organic since 2016. Julien works with Chardonnay, Savagnin, Pinot Noir and Ploussard. In the cellar things are slow, favouring long elevage. The resultant wines are full of energy yet cerebral.
