The Angueras have been farming since the 1820s in Montsant. After Josep and Joan's father passed away in the year 2000, they drastically changed the way they farmed their vines and successfully achieved biodynamic certification from Demeter in 2011. As the quality of fruit improved, their need for excessive sulphur use decreased and now is only used sparingly when absolutely necessary. The resulting wines speak for themselves: balanced, elegant and with a true sense of place.
