Patrice Béguet makes innovative natural wines in the Jura, from regional varieties including Savagnin, Chardonnay, Trousseau and Ploussard. Complexity abounds here, with a focus on curated blends and a long ferment resulting in a unique expression. Patrice follows organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyard, with zero synthetics and for the most part, no added sulphur. If I could sum his wines up in one word, it would be unexpected. Oh, and crazy delicious. I guess that’s three words.
