La Zouave is a cuvée that hasn't been made since 2015, and this is its comeback tour - a bottling blended from all the plots of old-vine Chardonnay across the estate then aged for a total of 18 months, first in barrels and foudres, then in tank. The result is a cascade of ripe stone fruit, with whiffs of butter and hazelnut, searing acidity, and a heck of a finish. Thank god they decided to make this one again. ABV: 12.5%
